Interior Detail

Our Interior Detail includes a thorough vacuum of seats, carpets, mats, crevices, and hard-to-reach areas. All interior surfaces and panels are cleaned and wiped down, interior glass is polished and dehazed to improve visibility and reduce morning condensation, and air vents are cleaned. Minor stains on seats and carpets will be treated and removed where possible. The service is finished with a low-shine UV-protective interior dressing that helps protect surfaces for up to 6 months.

Exterior Detail

Our Exterior Detail includes a deep wash to remove dirt, grime, road film, salt, and other contaminants. Wheels and wheel wells receive a heavy-duty cleaning to remove brake dust, mud, and buildup. If the paint surface feels rough or gritty, contaminants will be removed to restore a smooth, glossy finish. Exterior windows are degreased to improve visibility and help reduce condensation. Door jambs are cleaned and steam treated where required. The service is completed with a ceramic wax providing up to 6 months of protection, along with trim restoration where necessary.

Mobile Service Requirements

As this is a mobile detailing service, access to both power and water is required. If only bore water is available, please advise prior to your appointment. RS Detailing can supply water if necessary; however, an additional charge may apply depending on the size and requirements of the job.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due within 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • A late payment fee of $25 may be applied to invoices that remain unpaid after 7 days from the invoice date.
  • Any debt recovery, collection, legal, or administrative costs incurred in recovering overdue accounts may be charged to the customer.

Vehicle Condition & Additional Charges

  • Vehicle condition is assessed upon arrival.
  • Vehicles with excessive dirt, mud, pet hair, sand, stains, mould, odours, biohazards, or other unusually heavy contamination may incur additional charges due to increased labour time, equipment use, and product consumption.
  • Any additional charges will be discussed with the customer before work commences wherever possible.
  • All quoted prices are based on the vehicle condition described at the time of booking. Final pricing may be adjusted if the vehicle condition differs significantly from the information provided.

Service Limitations

  • While every effort is made to remove stains, marks, odours, pet hair, and contamination, complete removal cannot be guaranteed in all cases.
  • Estimated service times are approximate and may vary depending on vehicle size and condition.
  • Warranty coverage and detailing results may vary depending on vehicle age, condition, environmental exposure, and maintenance practices.

Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer is responsible for removing all personal belongings, valuables, cash, and other items from the vehicle before the service begins.
  • RS Detailing is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
  • The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the vehicle, including adequate working space, power, and water where required.
  • Customers must disclose any known damage, repainting, ceramic coatings, vinyl wraps, sensitive finishes, or areas of concern prior to commencement of work.

Warranty & Maintenance Policy

  • RS Detailing may provide a workmanship warranty on selected services at its discretion.
  • If a warranty claim is requested, an inspection appointment must be booked so that RS Detailing can assess the vehicle and determine whether the issue is covered under warranty.
  • Warranty coverage is intended for customers who maintain their vehicle and follow any aftercare recommendations provided by RS Detailing.
  • Warranty claims may be declined where the condition of the vehicle has deteriorated due to neglect, lack of maintenance, environmental contamination, improper washing methods, automatic car washes, misuse, accidental damage, or factors outside of RS Detailing's control.
  • For regular customers receiving ongoing maintenance services, warranty coverage may be void if there have been two (2) or more appointment cancellations and/or reschedules within a 12 month period.
  • RS Detailing reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility following inspection of the vehicle.

Pre-Existing Damage

  • RS Detailing will take all reasonable care while performing services; however, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or defects that become apparent during the cleaning process.
  • Some contamination removal processes may reveal existing paint defects, scratches, staining, or damage that was previously hidden by dirt and grime.

Appointments, Cancellations & Weather

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
  • RS Detailing reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for late cancellations or no-shows.
  • Weather conditions may affect mobile appointments. RS Detailing reserves the right to reschedule appointments where weather conditions may compromise service quality, safety, or results.
  • RS Detailing reserves the right to refuse service if the vehicle's condition presents a health or safety risk.

Complaints & Quality Assurance

  • Any concerns regarding completed work must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
  • No refunds will be issued without first providing RS Detailing the opportunity to inspect and address the concern.

Photography & Marketing

  • Photos of vehicles may be taken before, during, and after the service for quality control, warranty records, and promotional purposes.
  • Registration plates and personal information will be obscured where practical.
  • Customers may request in writing that their vehicle not be photographed for marketing purposes.

Agreement

By accepting a quote, booking a service, paying an invoice, or allowing work to commence, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions set out by RS Detailing.
